We are so fortunate to have booked Derrick Wright MPK from Dallas!

Derrick has done the majority of his in-class training with Pamelita and Audi MPK, as he started his Kizomba journey learning from as many instructors as he could in the Dallas area, including last years Olympiads winners, Shika Jay and Samy Vez. As a result, he has formed a unique style, flow, and musicality. His hunger for excellence continued as he began traveling and attending as many classes and workshops as he could. Derrick brings his smooth moves into every genre of dance, including Urban, Kizomba, Fusion, Semba, Tarraxo, and Tarraxinha. This guy doesn’t leave the dance floor except to take his 20-minute naps. Not only is Derrick a wonderful and well-rounded dancer but he is also an amazing instructor. With his school teacher background, he has a solid pedagogy and foundational understanding of how to reach students. He has taught in the US and has become MPKs teaching assistant in his hometown of Dallas.

This is going to be an intensive course for all of you who have danced Kizomba before.
