Salsa on 2 Beginners for couple with Therese & Ivan

Duration: 8 weeks

About the course: 

This is a salsa style that is danced in a linear form as opposed to the circular cuban salsa. While cuban salsa is generally danced and taught on1, on the strongest beat in the music, salsa on2 is following the beat of the conga. It's known for its elegant, smooth and soft feel. You will learn how to correctly dance acording to the timing of the music, move your body the proper way, and how to lead/follow on2. The classes will consist of a solo pattern and a partner work pattern.

We want all of our students to be able to enjoy this beautiful dance to the fullest, and will give you all the tools you need to truly shine while dancing. We will focus on technique, body movement and connection between lead and follow. We believe it's important to have a strong base as a solo dancer to be able to be a good follow or lead, which is why we will always work on both the solo part and partner work in our classes. Equipped with the right tools you will become a better dancer and have even more fun on the dance floor!
